Rebecca At the Well (Famous Bible Stories) Hardcover – January 1, by Maxine Nodel (Author), Norman Nodel (Illustrator)Author: Maxine Nodel. The story of Rebecca (Rebekah) at the well is one of the greatest Bible stories of all time.

It begins with Abraham in his old age (Gen ) and his servant Eliezer. Abraham makes an oath with Eliezer to go and find Isaac (Abraham’s son) a wife. Genesis: Rebekah at the Well Abraham and Isaac are found in the book of Genesis (24).

There are two parts of the Bible and Genesis is the first book in the Old Testament. Abraham decided to send his servant to find a wife for Isaac (his son). Abraham’s servant took 10 camels with him and traveled to Mesopotamia.

She went down to the spring and filled her jar up, then she fed the servant and his camels. [Gen. 24] Jacob first saw his future wife, Rachel, by a well surrounded by sheep.

Go to my country and to my relatives, and find a wife for my son Isaac." And the servant took 10 camels and departed to.
